EqcoLogic has developed application specific products for several leading electrical communications standards. These application specific products address unique characteristics of the different standards, such as communications set-up procedures, data encoding, transmission amplitudes, ECC and termination requirements.

In addition, EqcoLogic has standard products that cover a range of speed requirements.

The product range includes:

EQCO400T - UTP Cable Equalizer for long haul Firewire(1394b)

• Operates at 125 Mbps to 500 Mbps, fully adaptive
• Allows use of up to 100m [Cat5e or Cat6] UTP cable
• Power consumption up to 140 mW (14 mW in standby mode)
• In full production since 2006

EQCO800SC - Single Coax Transceiver for Firewire (1394b)

• Uses a single (50 or 75 ohm) coax cable of any diameter to create full duplex digital link
• Operates from125 Mbps (S100) to 1 Gbps (S800), fully adaptive
• Range up to 70m (dependent on data-rate and cable loss)
• Power consumption 215 mW (< 20µW in standby)
• Sampling since early 2007
• Full product release Q4, 2008

EQCO5001ACT/ACR - Asymmetric Coaxial Link

• 5Gbps downlink, 5Mbps uplink and up to 330mA of DC current over a single coaxial connection at low cost.
• Up to 100m range with standard coax cables
• Sampling Q3, 2008

EQCO611 - HDMI 1.3+ True Color HDMI Cable Equalizer

• Uncompressed video equalizer for DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort applications
• Compatible with all HDMI TDMS data formats up to HDMI 1.3
• Range of up to 35M (30m with HDMI deep color) of 24AWG cable
• Sampling Q3, 2008, available for licensing

EQCO631,641,642 - HDMI Switch/Equalizer Family

• Two full HDMI TDMS equalizers and two 4 to 1 HDMI switches in a single low cost package
• Package versions for 3:1, 4:1 and 4:2 switch equalizer devices
• Range of up to 35M (30m with HDMI deep colour) of 24AWG cable
• Production ready, available for licensing

EQCO4500LD - 4.5Gbps Dual head Professional Video Cable Driver

• Single or Dual coax driving capability
• Compatible with all SMPTE 3G-SDI data-rates up to and including “triple speed” (4.5Gbps)
• Sampling Q3, 2008, available for licensing

EQCO4500CE - 4.5Gbps HD/SDI Cable Equalizer

• Coaxial cable Equalizer for HD/SDI applications
• Suitable for all 50 ohm or 75 ohm coaxial cable systems
• Compatible with all SMPTE 3G-SDI data-rates up to and including “triple speed” (4.5Gbps)
• Range of up to 350M @ 300Mbps and 110m @ 4Gbps
• Sampling Q4, 2008, avaliable for licensing

EQCO7000 - High Speed Equalizer (coming soon)

• Broad bandwidth product, designed to give up to 30 dB recovery at speeds between 1.25 Gbps and 6.5 Gbps
• Suitable for multiple standards including USB3.0, eSATA, PCIe External
